Ma'an – The Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry suspects the Israeli government of freezing more Palestinian funds.
A spokesperson for the Israeli Ministry told Israeli Radio Tuesday that the money is question is related to the monthly custom's taxes owed to the Palestinian Authority. The Israeli Foreign Ministry issued the accusation upon Hamas' major success in the Palestinian Legislative Council elections.
The spokesman of the Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry said that acting Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will review the decision whether to freeze or transfer the PA money. According to the spokesperson, Olmert's expected response will be not to transfer the funds to the PA. The deadline for transfer is Wednesday.
For several years the Israeli government has had a hold on PA bank accounts.
