Dr. Mustafa Barghouthi, Secretary General of the Palestinian National Initiative calls for immediate action to counter Israeli attacks in Jerusalem in which the Israeli Occupation Forces demolished two houses in Silwan and Beit Hanina, in addition to a stone construction site in the town of Azzun east of Qalqilya.
He added that the aggression carried out by the occupation forces in Jerusalem, in parallel with the construction of 650 housing units in the settlement of Pisgat Zeev with the clear objective of emptying the city and to continue the Judaization of Jerusalem.
Dr. Barghouthi reaffirmed that the effective response to this aggression is through engaging in popular resistance and continuing to boycott Israeli products in order for losses to outweigh gains.
“For this reason, I call for all Palestinians to participate in the Bader Boycott Campaign that has been launched and proved to be successful and accepted by Palestinian merchants and citizens”, stated Dr. Barghouthi.
Dr. Barghouthi reaffirmed his call to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in Jerusalem and those areas targeted for settlement expansion and land confiscation.
